We are finally pulling the trigger on paid content.
I would love to be able to say that up until now I have only been posting free content to test the water, gauge response and develop a style.
But this would be utter bullshit.
The fact is I have not put out any premium content yet because I have not been confident that the writing is up to par. There are typos and semantic inconsistencies and so on.
However, just recently I had another job fall through on me and after some reflection and soul searching I came to two conclusions:
1 - a job does not define me.
2 - I love writing for an audience.
So the decision is almost made for me in this case. Driftwood Studio will be putting out occasional public posts. We will also be putting out premium content under three headings
Health - this has started as a collaboration with the brilliant and beautiful
with a series of six articles on the subject of “Anger.” These are currently free to access as a taster, and we will be writing more for your enjoyment and learning as premium content.Creativity - I will be publishing my own fiction, short stories and poetry. This will begin with “Stories from the Drift.” If you like a bit of dystopian, cyberpunk, post burn anti establishment, sexy adventure, then this is for you.
Poetry - I have been writing and performing poetry for 27 years, and I will be bringing regular updates here as well as videos of performances and recitals.

A little while ago
and I created this video together. The breeze block is something that Dave carried around with him as a metaphor for the emotional baggage that we hang on to.This adventure ended up creating a surreal and intimate little world which expresses something quite poignant about the human condition.

It has been a while since we sent out a Newsletter. Looking forward we will continue to make these free content for all our subscribers here on SubStack. We also look forward to brining more insights and comments on THE LIFE CREATIVE.
